Strengthening Workplace Safety in BPOs: OSHC Joins DOLE’s High-Impact Inspections in Region VI

The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) proudly supported the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in its high-visibility, high-impact inspection initiative across Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) establishments in Region VI. This collaborative effort underscores a strong commitment to ensuring safe, healthy, and compliant workplaces—particularly in fast-paced, high-demand sectors like BPO.

OSHC helps protect workers' well-being and encourages a culture of prevention and accountability by providing technical guidance, conducting on-site assessments, and advocating for strong occupational safety and health (OSH) standards. Together with the DOLE, the agency continues to advance proactive measures that address both physical and psychosocial workplace risks, ensuring that every worker thrives in a secure and supportive environment.

The OSHC, as the authority on OSH, champions the cause of work safety and health in the Philippines. The services of the OSHC cover the preventive aspects of occupational safety and health in both public and private workplaces. It fulfills its mission through research, training, information dissemination, and technical services.
