The OSHC-Region 6 will be conducting a free virtual 40-hr Construction Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 2 (SO2) on May 23-27, 2022.
The training is mandatory for establishments in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2) in pursuance of Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the participants' knowledge, skills, and attitude on the basic concepts and principles of OSH toward an effective OSH implementation on the construction site. Also, they will gain the confidence as effective trainers in delivering OSH topics for the workers, among others.
