About the event
The ACTSAFE, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CORP, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC), will be conducting a mandatory Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (BOSH SO1) via the Zoom App (online).
The training is mandatory for establishments in the MICRO & SMALL ENTERPRISES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 1 (SO1) in pursuance to Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the participant's knowledge, skills, and attitude on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in the workplace. In addition, they will be able to know how to respond to workplace emergencies and participate in the conduct of emergency drills. Also, they will gain confidence as effective trainers in delivering OSH topics for the workers, among others.
This training is highly recommended for OSH advocates, safety officers, OSH committee members, HR managers, facility engineers/supervisors, company owners/managers, and individuals with relevant fields of undertakings from private companies and government institutions, the academe, and health care service enterprises.
Registration fees will defray administrative costs, honoraria of resource speakers, and subscriptions.
