About the event
TRISAFETY, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC) based in Western Visayas, will be conducting a 40-hr Webinar on Loss Control Management (LCM).
The training is mandatory for establishments with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 3/4 (SO3/SO4) in pursuance of Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
The LCM course will provide the SO3 or SO4 with advanced knowledge and skills in loss control, risk assessment, hazard control in the workplace, the computation of safety performance measurements such as frequency and severity rates. The course will also provide participants with mastery in developing and implementing OSH policies and programs. The course also seeks to provide participants with knowledge on how they may assist their organizations in avoiding economic losses due to hidden or indirect costs associated with accidents and illnesses.
Registration fees will defray administrative costs, honoraria of resource speakers, and subscriptions.
