About the event
TRISAFETY, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC), will be conducting a virtual 48-hr Loss Control Management (LCM) + Confined Space Training.
The training is mandatory for establishments with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 3/4 (SO3/SO4) in pursuance of Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act No. 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
The LCM course will provide SO3 or SO4 with advanced knowledge and skills in loss control, risk assessment, hazard control in the workplace, and the computation of safety performance measurements such as frequency and severity rates. The course will also provide participants with mastery in developing and implementing OSH policies and programs. The course also seeks to provide participants with knowledge on how they may assist their organizations in avoiding economic losses due to hidden or indirect costs associated with accidents and illnesses. Finally, working in confined spaces is a high-risk job. As a safety practitioner, you must be aware of the risks and know how to prevent them.
Registration fees will defray administrative costs, honoraria of resource speakers, and subscriptions.
