About the event
The Occupational Safety and Health Center - Region 6, an attached agency of the DOLE and the authority on OSH in the Philippines, will be conducting a virtual FREE 10-hr Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (BOSH SO1).
This training is mandatory for establishments in the MICRO & SMALL Enterprises with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 1 (SO1) in pursuance to Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in the workplace.
