DESCRIPTION:

The Basic OSH Training for Safety Officer 1 (SO1) is an 8-hour occupational safety & health orientation plus a 2-hour Training of Trainers designed to impart knowledge & skills on basic concepts & principles of OSH to enable potential safety officers to implement their company's OSH program.

The training is in pursuance to Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”

This FREE online training is an effort of the DOLE-OSHC dedicated for the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).
