The TRISAFETY, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC) based in Western Visayas, will conduct the 40-hr. mandatory Construction Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 2 at the Bacolod King's Hotel, San Sebastian St., Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

The training is mandatory for establishments in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2) in pursuance to Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”

Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in the construction site. Also, they will gain the confidence as effective trainers in delivering OSH topics for the workers, among others.

This training is highly recommended for OSH advocates, construction site safety officers, OSH committee members, HR managers, facility engineers/supervisors, project owners/managers, and individuals with relevant fields of undertakings from private companies and government institutions, academe, and health care service enterprises.

Registration fees will defray administrative costs, meals, honoraria of resource speakers, and training materials.
