About the event

TRISAFETY, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC) based in Western Visayas, will be conducting a 40-hr mandatory virtual Construction Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 2 (BOSH SO2).

The training is mandatory for establishments in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2) in pursuance of Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”

Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in construction projects. In addition, they will be able to know how to respond to workplace emergencies and participate in the conduct of emergency drills.

This training is highly recommended for OSH advocates, safety officers, OSH committee members, HR managers, facility engineers/supervisors, company owners/managers, and individuals with relevant fields of undertakings from private companies and government institutions, the academe, and health care service enterprises.

Registration fees will defray administrative costs, honoraria of resource speakers, and subscriptions.
