About the event
The Western Visayas OSH Network, a partner of the Occupational Safety & Health Center (OSHC), will be conducting a 40-hr mandatory face-to-face Basic Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 2 (BOSH for SO2).
The training is mandatory for establishments in the GENERAL INDUSTRIES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2) in pursuance to Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”
Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in general industries.
