TRISAFETY, an accredited Safety Training Organization (STO) of the Department of Labor and Employment – Occupational Safety & Health Center (DOLE-OSHC) based in Western Visayas, will be conducting a 40-hr mandatory virtual Construction Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 2 (COSH SO2).

The training is mandatory for establishments in the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES with the need for a SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2) in pursuance of Section 3(v) of the DOLE Department Order No. 198-18, otherwise known as the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Republic Act 11058 “AN ACT STRENGTHENING COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF.”

Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop the participant's knowledge, skills, and attitude toward the basic concepts and principles of OSH for an effective OSH implementation in construction projects. In addition, they will be able to know how to respond to workplace emergencies and participate in the conduct of emergency drills.

This training is highly recommended for OSH advocates, project managers, supervisors, and individuals with construction-related undertakings from private companies, government institutions, and the academe.
