The Occupational Safety and Health Center - Region 6, an attached agency of the DOLE and the authority on OSH in the Philippines, will be conducting a virtual FREE 10-hr Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer 1 (BOSH SO1) for the Public Sector.

The Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training for Safety Officer 1 was designed to impart knowledge & skills on basic concepts & principles of OSH to enable potential safety officers to implement their agency's OSH program.  This FREE online training is in line with the CSC-DOH-DOLE Joint Memo. Circ. No. 1, s. 2020, Guidelines on OSH Standards for the Public Sector, which aims to promote the safety & health of workers in the government.

Furthermore, this course includes learning sessions that will develop/enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants on the basic concepts and principles of OSH towards an effective OSH implementation in the workplace. In addition, they will be able to know how to respond to workplace emergencies and participate in the conduct of emergency drills. Also, they will gain confidence as effective trainers in delivering OSH topics for the workers, among others.
